Study for Iguana (6:29)
"Iguana" (17:00) is a fictive, witty dramatization about relationships. The lizard, Iguana, is used as a symbol for primitive human emotions. The color green is used to set the emotional tone for describing obsessions and illusionary transformations along with actions of me shedding like a lizard.
The spectrum including nature, artifice, fantasy, and reality appears when I metamorphose into a half woman half Iguana. The story spins into non-linear time. Free association reigns along with the mimicry of the Iguana's physical nature, and a soundtrack of scratches, pauses, and voice-overs.
